How can it help? – The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation released the fourth annual Goalkeepers Report, featuring new data showing how the ripple effects of COVID-19 have stopped 20 years of progress toward the SDGs. 

The 2020 edition of the Gates Foundation’s Goalkeepers Report employs novel data collection methods to reveal impacts of COVID-19 on 18 SDG indicators, using contemporary estimates generated by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. It assesses the state of targets under SDGs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6  and 8 and provides the most current global dataset for how the pandemic is affecting progress toward the SDGs.
