Who’s behind it? – Spanish Development Cooperation Agency and Forética

 

How can it help? – This Spanish language resource analyses how Spanish companies with operations in Latin America and the Caribbean can contribute to the various local agendas on sustainable development in the region. The research comprises seven countries: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Paraguay and Peru. It is estimated that some 1170 Spanish companies are operating in these countries.

The report provides a materiality analysis of the selected countries in terms of the SDGs and identifies the main areas that should be highlighted by business in their strategic planning on contributing to the attainment of the goals. Also included is a guide to prioritising themes related to sustainable development in those countries.
