Who’s behind it? – UN ESCAP

How can it help? –  UN ESCAP has established the SDG Help Desk to meet the demand for capacity development in support of member states as outlined in the Resolution 72/6 “Committing to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific”.

The SDG Help Desk works as a gateway to resources and services by linking users to other platforms focusing in areas related to the implementation of the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. Key objectives include:

  • strengthening the sharing of knowledge;
  • facilitating information exchange;
  • capacity building to localize SDGs into national planning;
  • establishing a wide network of platforms and organizations.

The Help Desk offers access to webinars, data portals, best practices, e-learning courses and toolboxes.
