The Good Life Goals Business Guide

Who’s behind it? – Futerra & WBCSD

How can it help? – The Guide to the Good Life Goals for Business was developed by Futerra and the WBCSD to help companies understanding how to use the Good Life Goals and make the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to their employees, customers and operations.

This practical tool aims to help businesses to start using the Good Life Goals by exploring all the engagement opportunities they offer and all the impactful actions that can stem from them – laying out the foundations for a Good Life Goal “Hack”.

Along with some inspirational examples, the Guide provides guidance to companies on how to engage effectively with people (both employees and customers) around the sustainable behaviors that are connected to their products, services and corporate culture.

It also outlines meaningful and tangible actions companies can implement in support of the SDGs through 17 concrete business examples showing how the Good Life Goals can be leveraged and innovative actions to drive positive impact.

The Good Life Goals are the personal actions that everyone can take to help realizing the ambitions set out within the SDGs. Each of the 17 Good Life Goals has five actions directly related to the SDGs targets.

The Goals have been shaped through a multi-stakeholder collaboration between Futerra, the UN 10 YFP Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Program supported by the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), UN Environment, UNESCO and WBCSD.
